« Massacre à la tronçonneuse »: Sally Hardesty alias Marylin Burns est décédée
L’héroïne du film de Tobe Hooper, âgée de 64 ans, a été trouvée morte mardi 5 août à son domicile par sa sœur. Les causes du décès ne sont pas encore connues mais le centre médico-légal de Houston a annoncé qu’une autopsie serait effectuée rapidement.
Marilyn Burns est surtout connue pour avoir joué dans « Massacre à la tronçonneuse », où elle interprète le rôle de Sally Hardesty, notamment pour la scène dans laquelle elle crie pendant une demi-heure, alors poursuivie par Leatherface. Une séquence faisant d’elle l’une des plus célèbres « Screaming Queen ».
Cette disparition survient alors que l’actrice devait se rendre au « Housecore Horror Fest », un festival dédié aux films d’horreur qui se déroule à Austin dans le Texas en octobre prochain. De plus, une version restaurée de « Massacre à la tronçonneuse » sortira le 29 octobre 2014, une occasion de rendre hommage à cette actrice mythique…
