Google Maps : la Russie et la Crimée « réunies » dans le Google Map Russe !
Et si les problèmes géopolitique causaient des problèmes au service de carthographie en ligne comme Google Maps ? L’annexion de la Crimée à la Russie a en effet obligé le service Google Maps de définir 3 versions différentes des frontières de cette région, suivant la provenance de l’internaute utilisant le service Google Map !
En effet, la Crimée a été rattachée officiellement à la Russie par un décret le 18 Mars 2014 mais la communauté internationale n’a jamais acceptée cette décision, refusant l’annexion de la Crimée à la Russie et donc laissant la Crimée à l’Ukraine. Du coup, Google Maps a du adapter son service de cartographie en ligne suivant la provenance de l’internaute !
Google Maps affiche en effet 3 frontières différentes pour la Crimée, la Russie et l’Ukraine :
– Pour les utilisateurs russes de Google Maps, la Crimée est séparée d’un train plein de l’Ukraine.
– Pour les utilisateurs ukrainiens de Google Maps, la Crimée fait toujours partie de l’Ukraine !
– Pour les autres utilisateurs de Google Maps, par exemple les français sur maos.google.fr, la frontière entre la Crimée et l’Ukraine est en pointillée !
