A tous ceux qui suivaient assidûment la série policière de la première chaîne, une triste nouvelle a été annoncée… Le programme ne reviendra pas sur les écrans pour une saison 10.
En effet, d’après « PurePeople », la série française ne sera pas renouvelée par TF1, et tous les comédiens ont d’ores et déjà été informés de ce choix. Une décision très certainement liée aux audiences du programme, qui étaient devenues moins conséquentes au fil des années. La saison 9 avait réuni une moyenne de 5,5 millions de téléspectateurs, dont 19% de ménagères de moins de 50 ans. Un score apparemment insuffisant pour TF1.
Selon « puremedias.com », la chaîne a même révélé que les décors du plateau de tournage avaient été démontés. Néanmoins, il reste un petit espoir aux fans de la série: il n’est pas exclu que « R.I.S. » revienne un jour sous une autre forme à la télévision.
